The DIVA collective
An introduction to the operacollective DIVA.

DIVA: Within our collective we work with and around the body of the DIVA. By addressing each other as DIVA we perform two paradoxical operations: Forgetting our individual names and embracing collectivity, and simultaneously suggesting the stardom, temperament and hypersensitivity associated with the diva figure. Being a DIVA as a collective practice also means approaching things we are not trained in.
